Student Apprentice Program for Dancers at The Dance Academy

The Dance Academy is now offering a Student Apprentice Program for dancers who are interested in embarking on a teaching career one day or for anyone who is looking for volunteer hours to complete for their graduation, who have a dance training background.

Our Student Apprentice Program is offered to dancers who wish to gain experience in the world of teaching.  This program provides an opportunity for dancers to apprentice alongside one of our qualified teachers and assist them in instructing their classes.

The Student Apprentice Program is an invaluable learning experience for any dancer that is serious about the performing arts. Spending time alongside a qualified teacher in pre-school and beginner-level classes will help improve the dancer’s teaching skills and increase their understanding of instructing dance, as opposed to participating in it.
